This bright 2-bedroom apartment sits right on the Royal Mile, putting you at the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. You’re a 5-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle and surrounded by the city’s best restaurants, pubs, and historic sites.
The space has been recently renovated with a modern interior while keeping original period features. The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed, the second bedroom offers two singles – perfect for kids or friends. One well-appointed bathroom with a powerful shower.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need if you fancy cooking, and the living area is comfortable for relaxing after a day exploring the city.
You’re genuinely in the best spot. The Royal Mile runs from the castle down to Holyrood Palace, and you’re right in the middle of it. Princes Street and the New Town are a 10-minute walk. Waverley Station is 8 minutes on foot.
Dozens of restaurants, cafes, and traditional pubs within 2 minutes of your door. During the Fringe, you’re surrounded by venues. The rest of the year, it’s still lively but not overwhelming.
Step outside and you’re immediately in the action. No buses or taxis needed to reach the main sights – it’s all walkable from here. The building is quieter than you’d expect for such a central location, with double glazing keeping street noise manageable.
We’re also pet-friendly, so your dog can join you exploring Edinburgh’s parks and walks.
The apartment is on the second floor (no lift) in a traditional Old Town building. Parking isn’t available on-site – this is the Old Town, so most guests don’t need a car. If you’re driving in, we can recommend nearby car parks.
There’s no parking at the property – it’s in the Old Town where parking is extremely limited. We recommend using public transport or the nearby St James Quarter car park if you’re driving. Most guests find they don’t need a car in central Edinburgh.
One of the perks of booking direct – we’re flexible! Standard check-in is from 2pm and check-out by 12pm, but we can often accommodate earlier arrivals or later departures at no extra charge. Just let us know what works for you and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Self check-in with a keypad code. We’ll send you detailed instructions a few days before arrival, including the door code and directions. No need to coordinate schedules or meet in person unless you’d like to.

The Royal Mile is a busy tourist street, but the apartment has double glazing which keeps noise manageable. It’s quieter than you’d expect for such a central location. Weekends and festival season are naturally livelier.
